A Place for Folk to meet
The Mikla Vatns Félag ("Fellowship of the Great Lake") is a regional heathen fellowship rooted in the tradition of Germanic polytheism, centered in the Great Lakes region of the Midwest.
Our purpose is to foster a tight-knit community of faithful heathens who honor the Æsir, Vanir, and ancestors through authentic rites, prayers, and blots and rites of life such as marriage and passing into the great Ground.
We strive to rebuild strong families and tribes, live by the nine noble virtues (Honor, Honesty, Wisdom, Piety, Courage, Loyalty, Independence, Generosity, and Kindness), and celebrate our ancestral customs amid the mighty waters and lands of the Heartland.
Through shared devotion, frith, and growth, we affirm life, build luck for our folk, and keep the ancient ways alive in the modern world. Hail the Gods!
